Gas Field re-development Project

Project

Located in Danish North Sea, Tyra gas field is being redeveloped with an investment of kr 22.3 bn ($ 3.6 bn) to extend its operational life to deliver approximately 60,000 barrels of oil upon completion in 2022.

The Tyra offshore redevelopment contract requires McDermott to fabricate and assemble two separate work packages, including seven topside structures, six connecting bridges and six jacket extensions at a combined weight of 36,300t.

International context:

  • Engineering performed in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Chennai, India
  • Fabrication, Construction and Commissioning in Batam, Indonesia
  • Installation and Hook-up in the Danish North Sea

Our Scope

Provision of commissioning personnel for the following two packages:

  • Process Platform (TEG)
  • Well Head Platforms (WHRP)
