Offshore Commissioning Services for an FPSO

Project

As part of Total’s Kaombo field development project deep-offshore block 32 in Angola, Saipem was awarded a $3-billion EPCI contract for the delivery of two FPSOs.

Kaombo Norte was converted into a turret-moored FPSO, has sail away from Singapore in 2018 and is now moored at location.

Our Scope

SeaOwl has been contracted to supply the commissioning team, manage logistics and all personnel & equipment to perform the commissioning offshore Angola. Our scope covered the following activities:

• Commissioning of all instruments, equipments, modules, subsystems and systems throughout the Construction phase, Mechanical Completion to Commissioning and Start-Up including all procedures and handover documentation.
• Subsea & Hook-up commissioning shared between SeaOwl and Petrolis
